Privacy Policy

1. Overview

SpaceFreeman is a macOS application that scans your local disk and helps you uninstall apps together with their leftovers. The application runs entirely on your device.

2. Data we collect

None. The application does not transmit any data over the network. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no user account.

3. Local data access

To do its job, the application reads filesystem metadata (file paths, sizes, modification dates) and the contents of standard macOS support locations such as ~/Library/Caches, Application Support, Preferences, Logs, Containers and LaunchAgents. All processing happens locally on your Mac. Files are deleted only after you explicitly confirm the action.

4. App Sandbox

SpaceFreeman runs under the macOS App Sandbox. It accesses only the folders you grant access to via the system file picker, in line with Apple's user-selected file access entitlements.

5. Third parties

The application does not embed any third-party SDKs and does not contact any servers. The marketing website that hosts this page may collect aggregated, anonymous traffic statistics via Google Analytics; this concerns the website only and not the app.

6. Children

SpaceFreeman is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the application or our website.
